Earl’s Place
Earl’s Place is a transitional housing program providing support to men at a time who are recovering from substance abuse and homelessness. Hunt’s members support this program by providing casseroles from the Casserole Ministry; contributing subs during the Senior High February Sub Sale; donating homemade cookies for the participants of the January 15K Resolution Run, an Earl’s Place fundraiser; and providing other necessities as needed by the organization.
Casserole Ministry
The cooks of Casserole Ministry are committed to preparing great, homemade casseroles for several non-profits including Martha’s Place, which provides transition housing for women with drug and addiction issues; the JACQUES Initiative, an outpatient treatment program for people dealing with HIV-AIDS; and Earl’s Place, which provides housing and services for homeless men.
Once a month, Hunt’s volunteer cooks make the casseroles in their own homes, freeze them, and then transport them to Hunt’s for subsequent delivery to the non-profit recipients. The women of the Women’s Fellowship Breakfast invite all interested cooks to join the mission project.
Recipes are published on this website or in the church newsletter or cooks can choose from a selected list.

Mission Highlight
Every month, there are 5-7 casseroles delivered to Earl’s Place, where they are eagerly devoured by the men. Look on the new Missions Bulletin Board for the “thank you” notes that we received from the men for the Christmas presents that we gave them to give to their children or grandchildren.
