Mondawmin Partnership
The Mondawmin Partnership was created by the Missions Committee in 2011 to help youth in Baltimore to make good choices and to offer them opportunities to improve their academic and job skills. The Partnership provides tutoring for college entrance exams and offers opportunities to learn athletic skills, teamwork and job interviewing techniques. The mission has helped several students attend Morgan State, Shepherd University, Delaware State, Weslyan, and other colleges. Many of these young people were the first in their families to attend college. The Mondawmin Partnership works with The Greater Mondawmin Coordinating Council, TouchPoint, Carroll’s Gill Endowment Fund, and a host of individuals.
Mission Highlight
Thanks to the Carroll’s-Gill’s Endowment Fund, we annually sponsor eight high school students’ summer jobs at the Baer School. This is such a learning experience for them and a true blessing to the school.
